I bought the ps2 and promptly built up a collection of 22 movies from e-bay auctions. What about the games? Sony had such a good deal with the ps1 that it was a formality. GT3 is the best driving game ever. Pro evolution soccer scares me it is so realistic, I no longer shout at a proper match now as when I cock up I only have myself to blame...i now truly understand why thru balls can be so effective and as for the offside trap? Get a region x decoder with this console it is vital for cheap dvd's from abroad.
It is nice to have 1 machine that I can relax and watch my fave movies on AND have some adrenalin pumping action with, (not dodgy import dvd movies) in the ps2 games :) They are much cheaper to buy than what I originally paid and no one will regret it. Sony = big name, big product. I bought their latest mobile on the strength of the name so they must be doing something right and I'm a salesman.
