Hi all

I bought this color phone as the upgrade to T100 I had. It served the purpose exactly. Its a color phone, but it disappointed me lot in one aspect. The keyboard is damn slow. Me, being an active sms'er, I felt really letdown. Having used to the T100 messaging, it took me quiet a long time to get use to this slow interface. Thats the only defect of it. If u are a avid sms'er, sorry, T230 is not for u.

Looking into the plus points, the phone has very good look and also sound clarity. The phone book is good and spacious and easy to store shortcuts are lively and useful. As usual, keeping the sony ericsson tradition, there is a button on the side to control the listening volume without moving the phone off from ear. GPRS facility is also there in this and I tried it to be useful, but it is limited by the space it had. Anyway its good for the money paid. MMS option is also good, and I started sending MMS also but constrained only by the operator charges. It has a good set of ring tones, but I expected still better ones, but not so disappointing. The phone also ranges well in low signal areas. There are only two themes available in the set and any new one, have to be downloaded thru GPRS. It also has organiser that is good, and I found it quite comfortable. The recurrent alarm makes me sleep with out tension . All good in this phone except for the sluggish keyboard.
