I did a big survey before purchasing this Sony Ericsson P1i. There are several plus points like light weight ( compared to other mobiles with similar facilities), Three way text input ( semi qwerty key board, through stylus and through hand writing recognition ), excellent sound . Hand writing recognition is very handy and when one gets use to it , it becomes addictive . One can jot down notes like on a slate and save or get it converted to normal text . Good camera , excellent music system , free softwares with the pack, 1 GB free card , stylish look are some more features .
Though I purchased it for 19.5 K with a bluetooth ear piece free, now the price has come down to 16.5K . I carry a lot of my word and excel documents on it , or create on it when needed . Better to have a screen guard to avoid scratches as there is lot of stylus rubbing on the screen .
It is a mobile , camera, transistor, music system, computer, PDA all in one .
