Unable to state my agony at having bought a j200i for 4000+, and hat having been able to use it for a single day. I bought the phone from the Sony showroom located at Kalyani Nagar, Pune, during Sept'05. I couldnot use it for a single day, since the set would refuse to catch airtel. It would report no network. So I took it to the show room at Kalyani Nagar, who asked for 2 days, to be able to take the set to the service station. After 2/3 days, the s/r guys called me over and in a very harsh tone , told me that Sony would have to reload the software, which would mean 7 days outage!!!! A NEW SET, not used a single day, has corrupted software loaded!!!! I had no option left but to go on the offensive. When I asked for a replacement, the dealer refused. Unfortunate, Sony. You are playing with your reputation. I appeal to everyone reading this article, please donot patronize Sony in any way. Their services / behavior is unprofessional. Their product quality is WORST. I would rather invest in a Nokia or Siemens, than a sony. Second is the dealer's attitude. Be vary careful in dealing with this dealer. ''Sony showroom at Kalyani Nagar, Pune''
