I have purchased a sony bra via TV 7 years ago by keeping in mind that it is the no 1 brand, but the brand name is not of use .my TV has a problem of screen blank during 5 6 months back . I complained to the TV call center when the person come to visist tell us that the screen of the TV is gone off.
after 7 days the TV get started automatically and work till 7 moth after that the same problem occurred and the TV technician from sony tells us that the mother board has not working.
I have a very bad experience with Sony brand, so I recommend all of you dont purchase sony tv by seeing the brand name
