This is very popular temple As I live in saurashtra, I usually I visit somnath. somnath is well connect with road and rails. this is the 1st jyotirling among the 12 jyotirling in india. somnath is pride of gujarat. from railway station approx. 0.6 km and from bus stand is walking distance temple is there.
Very peaceful place and temple is at end of sea. beautiful scene from temple is seen. my childhood memories is memorable at this temple. nearby place to visit is Bhalkatirth. nearby place to visit is junagadh(historical city), sasan gir(where Asiatic lion is here).
At sea shore awesome atmoshphere. here local food also avilable. hotels and restaurant is also available in low to high range. in temple mobile and other like things not allow but there are safe and good locker available. somnath trust is managed temple and also guest house for pilgrimage. hotels also available. for food many restaurant is available. I love this place. I recommended to all to visit this place.
