Solan is the place that comes in centre between shimla and chandigarh
It is one of the best place surrounded by the natural beauty hills etc
There are many good tourist attraction places out here like jatoli temple . shoolini temple, mohan park, dagshai , bon monestary etc
I lived for about 4 years in solan and what I can say is it is one of the best place to live because climate is neither too hot nor too cold
There are many universities out here like Shoolini University, Manav Bharti. Maharishi Markandeshwar etc
Its a good station to visit but if you are willing to see snow than go to shimla or kullu manali
Talking about hotels you can easily get hotels here for less than 1k .
