Slumdog Millionaire:

I was so underwhelmed by this movie. The movie doesnt live upto the hype. The characters are half baked, cardboard characters which are too stereotyped.

Seems like Boyle saw a lot of earlier Indian slum movies(Dharavi, Salaam Bombay). Even Irfan Khan who usually gives a thought-provoking performance in every movie was

wasted. Anil Kapoor - I couldnt understand how could be portray himself to be so mean on live-television. It looked like one of those reality competitions where judges

humiliate the contestents rather than KBC. Their methods in cheating foreigners in Agra doesnt seem too convincing - foreigners are not that stupid .

Even how Salim's getting a gun, rising in the gang, character development is not shown.

The love story between the characters was very filmy .there were no tender moments.

Coming to the music - Rahman has rendered better music in various Indian movies. I found only the track O Saya, good.

Acting-wise everyone seemed average, there was no scene where I could say he really put his heart in the scene.

Totally hyped up movie.
