The Sinhagad College of Engineering in Pune has been set up by a Society-The Sinhagad Educational Society. Its founder and Secretary is the dynamic Shri M.N.Navale. It offers a variety of courses in Mechanical,Electrical,Computers,Information Technology,Civil and Electronic engineering and other subjects too. The college has very good buildings. Hostels for boys and girls are separate. It has a beautiful landscaped garden. The College has other colleges in the same campus-Pharmacy,Architecture,Management. There is a Polytechnic for diploma courses. A new school called the Spring Dales School has been started. It has buses for children. The college is connected by the PMT buses also. The college is constantly improving on facilities. It has large number of computers in its lab.There is a library too. Out side there are some shops,internet cafe,restaurants-in addition to the college canteen. One gets a good view of Pune on this side of the city. Shivaji 's Sinhagad fort is also visible amongst the Sahyadri hills. Placement facility is also there and many reputed companies come for placement.
