Simplilearn is working closely with MouthShut.com to enhance customer satisfaction.
I enrolled for a Data Scientist course with Simplilearn. With Simplilearn, Data Scientist course consists of 7 parts:
Course 1 Data Science Certification Training - R Programming
Course 2 Data Science with SAS Training
Course 3 Data Science with Python
Course 4 Machine Learning
Course 5 Big Data Hadoop and Spark Developer
Course 6 Tableau Desktop 10 Qualified Associate Training
Course 7 Data Science Capstone
After attending a few sessions of Course 1 and getting to know first-hand the course structure and training approach, I was convinced that Simplilearn teaching model wasn't working for me at all as:
course content was well below my expectations
session videos were not made available on android compatible formats and therefore couldn't be played back on the devices I use the most at my convenience
due to above mentioned issue, it was getting extremely difficult to catch up on the sessions as a working professional
and as a result completing projects on time is impossible(they have incredible deadlines for project submissions)
Also, the fact that sound statistical knowledge is a must for Data Science course was not brought to my notice during the initial sales pitch by their Sales team, in spite of me inquiring about it.
I initiated a refund request immediately, which Simplilearn rejected, in spite of my request complying with their refund terms and conditions.
As it is not a small amount of money, I feel I have been terribly let down by Simplilearn.
The intention of this write up is to caution people who wish to enroll for any course with Simplilearn to think twice before investing with Simplilearn.
