I was to board a morning flight to Bangalore (6:35) this tuesday (12th September). I started well on time from my house but unfortunately my Car Tyre got burst midway. I was three minutes (Exact) late on the boarding counter i.e. 6.08 A.M. I requested the checkin person and told him the reason and to my utter surprise they told me that the gates have been already closed for this flight. It was mentioned in the e-ticket that you should be there at the boarding gate at 20 minutes before the scheduled departure that makes it 6:15. The CheckIn staff gave me the reason that People came early and boarded the aircraft, thus they had to clode early. I need to reach Bangalore for my Interview and I had to buy another ticket from another airlines i.e. Indigo. Indigo on the other hand was very supportive and there flight was to take off just after 5 minutes of AirDeccaon. I bought the ticket on the spot, boarded the flight and was able to reach bangalore on time. On service part also, they are the worst (AirDeccan). Indigo is also one of the LowCost Airline and they are giving good service with Drinking Water free of charge. This is the 3 time I am travelling by Air and so far I would rate the Indigo Crew the BEST.
