This airline operates on highly unethical and fradulent terms.
You may be aware of their delays. That is not new to anyone.
However, they also indulge in fradulent means of cancelling flights. BEWARE: You may be informed that you are too late to board a flight ( as early as 1hr before departure !! ). This is a trick . They have actually overbooked the flight and will turn away all unfortunate passenges in excess of the capacity.
Justly, you should get a refund ....but they will try to con you into beleiving that you are indeed late. Your ability to secure a refund is proportional to how long you are willing to haggle with them.
In this situation they will not refund your ticket or accomodate you in a flight thereafter. Instead they will offer to cancel your ticket and return Rs 500. Obviously a person will be taken aback when this is said.
Then, they will slowly offer to reschedule your flight to the next day and have you pay the difference in fare (approx Rs 1500 in my case). Now they have made a profit of nearly Rs. 3000 on this ticket as they have extracted rs.1000 from you and Rs 2000 from whoever flew in your place.
Beware - For a so called budget ticked you will end up paying more than a decent airline (Jet etc). And you will also be hasseled schedule-wise.
