Well I am here to tell you about my trip with Air deccan.
Bangalore to Goa.
We were on a trip to Goa and we had to take our flight at 2:10 PM, but I get a SMS at 1:00PM stating that my flight was delayed (although the revised time was not mentioned), but since I had other plans before my flight I had left my house early and with no other option had to reach the airport by 1:00PM. I walked up to collect my boarding pass I was informed that the flight is rescheduled to leave at 4:15 PM (a delay of 130 min straight), with no other option I checked in my luggage.
At 4:05 ther were no sign of our deccan flight and there was only one air deccan Person, when we spoke to him he informed us that the flight which we supposed to have arrived but has still not arrived and we might be delayed by another 10-15 minutes.
The flight finally arrived at 4:15 and by the time we could leave bangalore it was 4:30 so a total delay of 2 hr 20 min.
Once inside the aircraft we noticed that there was a single flight attendant, and food was inside the aircraft.
The over all experience of my travel with Deccan :
Punctuality : Needs to be improved.
Ground staff : more people needs to be deployed to ensure quick check in
Food Quality : needs to improve and more Varieties needs to be introduced
I would surely suggest this airlines if you have no time constraint and your reach to the destination can be delayed by more than couple of hours.
