I got the 256kbps connection just 2 days ago.
Though the link is reliable but if ur PC shuts down w/o logging off the sify client u gonna see the side effects.
Sify client SUCKS!
Due to some problem my PC restarted & I opened another OS. But the connection was still open as it is my default connection.It kept on sending & recieving packets for nothing........& it cost me 25MB w/o me using the internet!!!!!!!!
If sify cannot provide a robust client maybe ti should provide with an online login to users. That is easy too. Also the sify client opens a couple of sify sites by itself.......cheap.
