Siemens AMC
Siemens will not give you an AMC if requested after your warranty expires. all subsequent charges are high and delays are huge.

I missed renewing the AMC on time, so I requested the service person to check my machine, do any corrections for which I would pay and after that renew my AMC . No luck. Siemens will not give you an AMC and they charge 800 rupees per service person visit.
if a belt slips, service person takes 800 rupees to put that back. so you can imagine, parts are also not cheap.
3 weeks back the machine started giving problems, service person comes, he says heater needs replacement. charge 800+ approx 4500 for heater
He confidently put back the machine, asked me to wait for the spares . He said he disconnected the heater so I can continue using the machine. how ever after he left, I could see a part lying outside, so I called him . He said, that part is not needed and I can continue using the machine.
Second use after that, the machine drum came loose, called servcie person again . New person comes, he says, the drum is cut as it was hitting against the heater. another 4000 rupees and 10 days
I wrote a mail to Siemens asking if they can give me AMC after this is fixed . No reply
Yesterday, I sold the machine in scrap and bought a new one
this might be my experience . Overall, I did not find wash quality also that good. especially hard water in chennai . I could see deposits on cloths after washing( some water saving feature in the machine)
