I visited mata vaishno devi last month. It was delightful journey for me. And it was memorable trip my friends. I am from punjab and we went mata vaishno devi through train. It took 7-8 hours to reach khatra. I want to tell you if you are going to khatra beware from auto and texi drivers. They charge 200rs from 1Km. That was really disappointing. And next we find a hotel. You can get good hotel at reasonable price. We got our hotel at rs600. And it was good. We completed our 12km journey katra to mata vaishno devi temple by walking. It was very safe journey you don't need to worry about any thing. Jai kara mata shera wali da bol sache darwar ki jai.
