Terrible delivery service by Indiatimes.Stay away!. Review on Shoppingdiatimes

*See the comments for updates to this review.**I'd ordered **Sports Champions 2** for PS3. Got a decent discount, which is why I ventured out of the safe zones of flipkart and the like. Boy, do I regret my decision. Placed the order on **Nov 1**. Expected delivery date was Nov 9 (far off, but worth the wait for the discount). Then they shipped the product on Nov 3 and sent me an email saying that it **would be delivered on Nov 6**. But they used some unheard of courier service called **Delhivery**. When I checked the tracking, it's been lying in the Delhivery Bangalore office since November 5. I followed up with them for several days and they kept saying they would deliver it (whenever I could get through to their customer care). When I called today, they had no explanation for why it was lying there for a week. And on top of that, they say they're closed for three days for Diwali!!!! So looks like I'll get my product only on November 15 or 16, more than 15 days after the order.

Terrible, terrible service. I'm **never ordering from Indiatimes again**. Shame on you, Indiatimes, for resorting to such **unreliable courier services** to save a buck.

What you don't realize is that the bad pubicity you'll get after this review is far, far worse for you than the money you saved by using that cheap, unreliable courier service. Are any of the big shots at Indiatimes listening? Looking at the other reviews about your site, you're probably the only large organization that customers are consistently frustrated with!!!

A sincere appeal to everybody who reads this review. Even if you get tempted by a few hundred rupees discount because of some coupon code at Indiatimes, don't give in to the temptation. It's absolutely not worth it. You'll lose more than that in peace of mind (and follow up phone calls!!). And going by my experience, it seems like they have a guarantee that the product will never reach on the promised date! Let's all boycott Indiatimes till they stop resorting to such customer-unfriendly practices!!!

My order number, incidentally, is 3001618232 (just in case anybody from Indiatimes is reading this review). **My complaint ID is 505929**. I had placed another order for a Bajaj mixer grinder before I found out how terrible your delivery is. Hopefully, at least that will come on time. Never again!
