A.k.a con.com. Review on Shoppingdiatimes

Don't get lured by this website's claims and products. They have all it takes to con the customers. Let me explain why.

I purchased caller ID phone with free butterfly massager from shopping.indiatimes.com.

The caller ID phone was defective. It worked for only 2-3 minutes when connected. After this there was no dialtone and the phone has been dead till then. The instrument was also cracked at the bottom. I have been conned by the seller who has made a quick buck by passing on this worthless product to me. I have sent them umpteen reminders to take appropriate action.

All I get is a ticket number with a computer generated email which mentions that support team will respond in 48 hrs. I have lost count on the number of 48 hrs that have passed by and the emails I have sent them. I have even tried to search for their contact number but website mentions only the address. Could anybody give me their contact number if you have?

I have also heard from many of my friends who have been conned by this website earlier. Unfortunately, I got to know of this after I had purchased from this website.

Had I known earlier, I never would have wasted my time and money.

(I also found out later that the butterfly massager which they claimed to be worth Rs.1100/- is available for Rs. 20/- at a local market and it works too !!)

Their counterpart ''ebay.co.in'' is no good either. I have been conned by them too.

When, I wanted to leave a negative feedback, website mentioned that the seller is no longer registered. He proclaimed himself as a ''power seller'' earlier.

Hence, I request everybody reading this review not to waste their money on such websites.

Never buy a product without actually seeing and evaluating it yourself. After all its your hard earned money.
