Facing endless torture..Not refunding money. Review on Shoppingdiatimes

The torturous journey began the day I placed an order of Lumia 720(order id 3002926819) on 27th December 2013. After waiting for 6 days they did not dispatch the product. In the meanwhile I was continuously calling them everyday to inquire about the shipment of my product. But all I got to hear was that they are arranging the product to be shipped or it will take 24 to 48 hours from the customer care executives. It became quite obvious that they did not have the product available with them or else why would it take so much of time for the product to be dispatched. Finally on 1st Jan when I called them again they said the product was out of stock. If it wasn't available, why do you accept the money in the first place?

On 1st Jan, I cancelled the order and asked for the refund. As per their policy which is mentioned on their website, it would take 5 to 10 working days to get the refund in my account. I waited patiently for 10 days before I thought to share this harassment by indiatimes that I am facing here for the people out there who plan to buy anything from this site. As of today all I can see on their website that my refund is in process.

On 7th Jan I wrote to the operation head to escalate the complaint thinking that I would get any response, but as Indiatimes is known for their careless attitude, I haven't heard anything from so called operation head even after 4 days.

2 case ids were created for my concern, the first case id 1231129 is closed without any solution and the funny part is they ask me "We hereby close your case. Hope you are satisfied by the way your case was dealt." The other case id 1240316 is mentioning to solve my case by 18th Jan. This clearly shows I am not going to get any respite till at least 8 more days.

Please Indiatimes refund my money. You have already given much pleasure by not refunding my own money. Don't tell me you are working on my case just tell me on which date you are refunding my money of Rs.14232.

My humble request to everyone - Stay away from this site.
