Shirley is the only private waterfalls near Yellapur as I've known of. There may be other private falls but they are yet to be explored. We have to walk through the private farm kind of thing to reach to the falls. This is a natural bliss. You can even trek to the top of the waterfall but I've heard they have banned it now. It's a must visit place.its on yellapur -ankola highway, from yellapur after idagundi village ghat starts after 2 kms you will find a bus stop at left totally 15 kms from yellapur, from highway its 2kms small vehicle will go up to falls last point a house is there have to pay 10/- per head to enter the premises and have to walk 300 meters only you get it, best to see in rainy season and can enjoy up to January.you get nothing there to eat.make sure you dont take your car inside after highway you park it outside and walk rest of the way and enjoy the experience
