Shimla ....Visit only if you have to. Review on Shimla

Shimla which was once supposed to be the best hill stations around turned out to be nothing but a concrete jungle .I just kept looking around and could not find the hill station anywhere in Shimla.We were disappointed at the very first sight of Shimla.A very commercialised place ,hotel agents and guides moving and pushing you around that is the first impression I got of Shimla.If you travel by your own car be prepared to wait in a long que for parking .A very very crowded market ,too expensive to buy anything and we were using the fans in the month of September !!!!Water shortage and no electricity are some more problems that I can remember and of course the bus which almost ran over me.

Go only if you must have to or if its an all expense paid trip.It is suited if you are in a group of singles or on a college trip.Certainly not meant for honeymooning couples or senior citizens.
