City of Shimla is located among the mountain ranges of Himalayas and is excellent destination for tourists.

Now four lane has been developed connecting Shimla directly to Chandigarh City and Delhi City ( Capital of India)

Anyone can reach Shimla by Road taking own private vehicle, Tax / Cab /, Train and by Air. All major cities nearby Shimla are directly connected to city of Shimla.

During my childhood, Shimla was not that much crowded and it was a excellent tourist spot for family and friends. But now it seems its over crowded and you have to be among bunch of public who are all mix with locals and tourists.

All excellent sights which were visible clearly ten years before are now in shadow of newly built buildings.

The hotels and avilable accomodations are mainly private own, built with the vision of only earning money. So during peak season the charges are even higher than the hotels at Hollywood and over that you have to compromise with the basic facilities provided by hotel. This all happens during peak season.

Most of the hotels are having short term staff which are low educated and are meant only to fill the vacancy in hotel. So forget that the hotel staff is intelligent and will support you for any matter. Its your luck if you get any good hearted staff who will support you and you can trust him.

Now a days safety is no where seen. So you should keep safe by your ownself and beware not to travel in late hours during peak season that is Month of December and Month of June and July.
