My office is quite close to this place and I keep ending up here for lunch every once in a while.
Drinks:
No Alcohol, so thats a big minus point for the place. One of the best Iced Tea.
The food:
Some dishes are really good, while others may leave you somewhat dissappointed. But for the cost, rather good stuff. The sizzlers and non-veg dishes are good. Most main courses will fill you up quite well. So dont order too many starters. You may not be able to finish.
Try the russian salad - its worth every every rupee of the Rs.50 they charge for it.
The ambience:
Go early and get a table in the balcony (Just 4 tables there). The seating inside is dry and lifeless. Music is limited to FM Radio. The place is not air-conditioned.
Final word:
Ideal for quick lunch or a dinner with some friends, especially if your budget is tight. Not exactly the place for a romantic dinner.
(Once my friend received a rather stale looking and tasting veg. steak. However, I have had it quite a few times without any issues. Must have been an one-off occasion)
