I've been with 70 mm for over 2 years now with little breaks in my subscription now and then. Initially I taken a limited movie pack - 4 or 5 movies per month. Those weren't pleasant experiences. If the movie you got turned out bad (getting stuck after an hour of play) I didn't always get a compensatory movie.The haggling with them took up too much energy. I got I ever this problem by switching to unlimited (paid 100 extra)- it didn't matter if the odd movie didn't play well. But I appreciated the fact that I could watch old classic English flicks in remastered versions. So I stick it out. Pity Hindi movies don't have restored version DVD's.
Things seem to be changing now. The earlier lottery of which movie you got is gone. They call it Get it now. I hear Netfilx still hav the ol' lottery system. Ordering movies thru IVRS is a nice addition. Hope they'll do something about the recordings of movie names 3 or 4 times the movie didn't appear. When I called they said the movie I ordered was in a damaged condition.
Wish they would tell me that before I called.
