I have a laptop attached with seagate hard drive which I use for travel purpose, I am a careless so most of the time I take my laptop it the hard drive falls from my desk to my floor up to three such falls it was OK after that the casing cracked and after that the casing broke, i took the broken case align it as it was and plugged it in and it works still it is working I used rubber band and it works fine as good as new. For me it is more than what I needed
