Choose only if you want to loose your Money. Review on Scripbox

Hi All,

I have been investing in Scripbox for the Past 6 years and I can say that, that's a good time frame in terms of investing in Mutual funds. Okay so the first thing is, they sell only Regular funds whose expense ratio is higher than direct funds. You may ask why? Its because the fund houses pay scripbox when people choose regular funds from the platform, so basically it means that not just fund houses but scripbox have their expenses covered or in general they will make money irrespective of you make money or not. Second, is there return is very less, since before covid I used to get a return of 5 percent even if I had a good time horizon of 6 years and after covid, it was negative. So for a meager 5% I am risking my investment amount. Rather I will get the same returns in FD and that too my invested amount will be safe. Mutual funds are good way of making corpus and I would agree on that but scripbox isn't the platform for you to grow your money. Rather you can use ETMoney or Groww or COIN by Zerodha for Direct Mutual fund investments. Especially if you don't know which funds to choose then ETMoney will be good for you since they provide similar features as Scripbox. Or else you can do a financial planning from yadna investment. Com. They take lesser amount to do your financial planning.
