Sarkar is the kind of movie that makes you go WOW what did I just see at times and wonder what is the big deal at others. Its opening and last 30 minutes are masterpiece cinema. The first half is the Amitabh Bachchan show, how he rules the city without being the elected leader. He is leader of the masses and the people will do anything for him. Amitabh is in full form as Subhas Nagre. 2nd half is the surprise of movie when innocent little Abhishek turns into The evil eyed Godfather and becomes the new Sarkar. The final hour of the movie is classic especially the scene when Abhishek finds out about the murder attempt on his father . From the others, KK Menon is good.
