Best for home users. Review on Samsung Syncmaster 753s

I had 15'' samsung monitor which started flickering after 4 yrs and I got this nice bigger 17'' 753s for 6k....i was really glad to see vivid images and sharp picture quality....i must say tht it is one of the best monitors ....the screen is 17'' diagonally and the viewable area is 16''...its not the pure flat but normal CRT ....the monitor is little heavy to handle and hence demands for proper base on ur computer table,the CRT extends quite a bit on the back and takes up much space....setup was breeze and had no problems with settings...i use 1024X768 resolution @85hz refresh rate..

the monitor is good enough to handle heavy graphic details of games like doom and hardly showed any ghosting or blurring.....though it has no heating issues I observed a little temperature rise on the casing at the back side after playing games for 2hrs....it hasnt caused any problems as yet though I feel proper ventilation is a must....2ndly the monitor shows gauss effect in form of color patches if the speakers placed next to it r having big magnets....would recommend to keep speakers a little away.....sometimes I have observed tht the display settings dont work as they way u wish though I dont bother much abt it...i feel its really nice non-flat 17'' monitor for home user and surely recommend it to all.....
