Purchased this TV from ICE Bangalore last year. So far so good. It has got more options than any other TV, but still I am surprising why a normal person first thinks about Sony Wega for flat TV. Yes! Sony is best in SOUND. No idea about picture quality. Remembering old ''black & white'' TV producing companies, they are almost obsolete. New companies captured the whole market and now Indian Market are flooded with LG, Philips, Sony, Samsung etc. These companies are in competition and ultimate benefit for consumer. But launching so many brands in the market perplexed consumer and hence, situation will soon be worst. Sony brand is good for Sound Quality, dont know about picture quality. Philips, too, came into picture because of sound. These are international brands, and now LG is in queue too.
This samsung model, which I purchased, has got lot of options but sometimes I feel bad for sound. Though it has great Picture quality but then sound doesnt match with motion picture. May be, the reason could be, because I tried to set the sound using equalizer but there is no way you can reset it. But ''MegaBass'' works good giving excellent effect.
