I bought 40 inch SAMSUNG 5 Series LCD LA40B530P7RMXLone year back and suddenly today its screen turned white. Though still thereare images and sound but the colors are too light. I lodged a complaint so theservice engineer came and said it’s a Display Card problem, after that anotherday he tried with new Card and confirmed its panel failure that will cost Rs.30, 000/- further with just one month warranty. The most doubtful thing is thatthey want the old screen and cards for R&D purpose. They might be usingrepaired ones so please make sure u do not handover so called spoiled parts oreither destroy them before handover.
I am damn sure that panel is not faulty as the image isgetting rendered and further it is neither dead i.e. black nor broken. These companies are dumping inferior quality panels which are no where their expectedlife of 60 K hours. Beware of buyingSAMSUNG JUNK, it is CRAP pure CRAP.
