Have been working at Samsung India Software Operations
Pros :
1> Challenging work, constant learning
2>Good pay structure
3>your mind is always engaged in some constructive work.
4> Travel options although for just 1 month currently but its ok.
5>U get nice gifts and bonuses .
Cons :
1> Very Strict discipline, 9 hours mandatory timing in office
2> Hectic schedule.
3> Too many rules, no work from home option.
4> Too much importance to Korean counterparts.
5> Not a healthy work environment as all of them seem to be workaholic and Korean fearing people.
6> Not employee friendly, whole motto is 'you work and we will pay'
An advice to the Senior Management. Please make this place more employee friendly and give some flexibility. But I know this advice is of no use as every thing depends on Koreans.
Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company
