I am using it since February 2012.
It has very goof life. No complaint about this phone. I use this phone actually before I sell it to my friends.This phone so tough too with strong plastic body cover.my screen become blur coz raining.battery is 1200 mAHwhich is okay.but drains much faster when data is active.camera so far nice quality.problem I dont like it with internal storage.Wasupp running very well. Doesn't support videos with latest specs. I run many application whatsapp, facebook, messenger, and mx player. it is 3g phoneOr as a wifi hotspot. I had my software upgraded to 2.3.6, 2 years ago from samsung. Due to low memory specs, it is slow or will not load Instagram or bbm anymore. Battles to download updates for whatsapp, after a few attempts it starts to download from the play store. I had to take off google play services, as it is too big for the phone.I had this phone I think is a program call SD2ext or something like that. My first Smartphone cost 7, 400.this phone can update to 4.0 4.2 4.4 5.1 6.0 android but those are unofficially.Gaming was great BACK THEN. now adays, almost only 2D games can be launched in this phone.screen is pretty small, cant handle hd 720p video. ram not too big. My opinion is 6/10= phone is purely great in terms of battery life, little bit of multimedia, social media alot, phone calls, texting, compass, this phone is perfect for those who need this phone in case of emergency.it ha sa special feature like proximety sensor, magnetic sensor.it has limitations like it does not have flash light, it does not have good storage capacity .it does have good ram stability for application launched now a days.there are few applications on playstore which first use to be compatable on galaxy y but now their requirment to run is android v4.0+ and galxy y is and v2.3.6 so unfortunetly apps like videomate, vlc media player, skype ang games like temple run, oz, temple run 2, subway suffers, real racing 1, 2, 3 and many more does not support galaxy y.
No damage to phone and No Repair till now. It fell down more than 100 times in these 4 years but there is no damage it. It works as a Rock.
