I got my samsung note 4 as a gift from my dad when he was returning from singapore this march. When I started using my phone I was very happy till one day I transferred my sd card from my note 2, it started heating up almost like an electric iron. I immediately removed the card and it returned to normal. so I used it without sd card but then after a few weeks it started heating up again this time without a sd card. it would discharge fully in 3 hrs time.
I moved back to my note 2 lest it burst in my pocket. I gave it to Samsung they wiped the phone to factory reset and they said nothing was wrong with the phone might be some buggy program!when I started using it it did not heat up for a few weeks and then started heating up again. so I searched the internet forums and noticed the pattern and finally found out that a Samsung service called "index service" was the culprit. when I forced stop it my phone would cool down again. So now whenever I feel my pockets burning I force stop the service and so is life.
Whats the use of such a expensive phone with such a buggy software.so many people suffering but samsung has no patches or updates for it. fraud company going the nokia way.
please dont waste your money.
