I bought this D880 on 29/6/08 at Univercell for Rs.12400/-. I bought this primarily for 3.2 mp camera and also for dual sim facility. After two days, there were lines on the display and within next 30 minutes, the display was full of straight lines.
I gave this for servicing at Univercell at Hosur. They, in turn, sent to Samsung service centre. Now, it is more than 10 days and there is no word from them. I already have bad experience with Samsung products. Their quality and service are pathetic. Though the style looks okey, the poor quality and pathetic service facility makes it a worst buy. I am very sure this product will not withstand more than one month, without another quality problem.
Samsung has to reach Nokia quality, if they want to succeed in Indian market. Only style / brand name will not help them.
Anyway, I am planning to sell off my brand new phone, before settling down with Nokia
