I wanted to purchase a mobile phone as my earlier phone had broken in an accident. I opted for below Rs 2000 budget as I use my mobile only for basic requirement and not for flaunting. I wanted a coIour phone with speaker with/without FM. After a little bit of research I zeroed on four models :
Nokia 1600, Motorola W209, Samsung C160 and Sony Ericsson J120 .I checked the prices at Subhiksha stores as they were offering the lowest price in all ranges.Nokia 1600 - Price Rs 1850, Colour phone with speaker without FM, looks very drab. people tell battery backup is excellent.Motorola W209-Price Rs 2000, Colour phone with speaker and FM, bigger in size.Samsung C160 - Price Rs 1700, Colour phone with speaker and FM, great sound, Looks good, Available Only in black color .Sony Ericsson J120 - Rs 2100, Colour phone with speaker and FM, sound ok, but LCD size is very small.
I went for Samsung C160. Using it for last 6 months without any problem. Moreover Subhiksha gave me 1 yr warranty extra and a scratch card where I won Rs 150 less. So actually I paid Rs 1550 for this little beauty. Its amazing that in this price I got so many features.
