Ever wanted to feel one with the music , transported to a different culture where music and dance is life .Yes I am talking about salsa ---the sensual latin dance . Salsa is a dance from latin america which is danced to salsa music which can be danced by anyone. Compared to many other dances this is a partner dance so salsa dancing is mild exercise , sensual dancing , socialising , enjoying music all bundled into one .Like swimming only by doing it you will realise its potential and beauty .

After this brief intro let me write a review about mr anand who conducts quickstep salsa classes in mumbai . I got his name quickstep salsa by anand through the internet a foolish thing to do which I later realised . His classes are primarily taught by his students who have on the average 2 months experience. Even in basic steps they have doubt and teach the wrong steps . I realised these were wrong steps because I met many experienced salsa students from other institutes who asked me where I learnt these steps . Also each of his student "teachers" teach in a different way because they themselves are thoroughly confused .

Salsa learning should be fun . This is where anand and his quickstep scores . It is so funny that many classes anand tells stories like he represented india in marathon . One look at his current physique will make you realise the fun part . Salsa is a dance where the men lead subtly and women follows . In quickstep class all the men are taught by women ( no men can stand his ego ) and how can they teach you lead . In the end the dances end in utter confusion .

value for money : excellent . At anand institute quickstep salsa We pay 4000 rs for 16 classes . very cheap considering anand cancels some of his classes at the slightest excuse , disappears after giving a 3 minute demo , starts classes 10 mts late and stops at exact time .

His quickstep salsa dancing you please google it and compare with his competition like kaytee of salsa india . see both the videos in youtube and you give the verdict . this guy anand has stereotyped moves like some wrestling match no grace involved

So potential latin dancer what should you do ?? I recommend salsa dancing always but never learn from him this anand of quickstep salsa mumbai . other options I have heard are much better kaytee of salsa india , conrad coelho , darshan dave . google it to find out .
