The very name *Saggezza* is a little intriguing and as the name suggests it's probably an abode for wisdom.
I started my career here as a fresher(currently Intern) and I feel Saggezza to be promising and encouraging . I work on *Big data* domain and I seriously doubt if most other companies give a chance for undergrads and freshers to work on Hadoop and core Big data concepts.
Saggezza is a *cool* company without stringent adherence to unhelpful rules. You can come in without being too late and leave a little early seamlessly. It's *flexible*. A few of my friends had also had the privilege of moving to desired projects which is rarely seen elsewhere. Saggezza exercises open door policy and you can just get help from anyone in the office. It's a fairly small and growing company, and as a result your voice gets heard loudly. I mean there's a great *scope for recognition*.
Managers are fairly amiable and focus a lot on our progress. The training sessions are not greatly effective but give a good chance to learn a lot. I learnt about Core Java, Servlets, Spring, MVC, Hibernate, J2EE, Maven etc in my training. Yes it's comprehensive.
Employees are super cool in the office. We catch up to play cricket and hangout on sundays and etc. So, there's good off-work relationship among people.
You'll have many opportunities to make a mark through Toastmasters and bring out your speaking skills which happens every week. Yoga sessions happen twice a week balancing the work stress. Every friday evening, there's an hour of gala time called the *Fun Friday* and you can actually organize events and cool stuff and be lauded.
There are a lot of other good things about the company and some hiccups as well. The infrastructure is not on par with MNCs. It's a small company. All systems are not high performing ones. Video conferencing setup seldom troubles. The wifi is not excellent etc.
But if you really want to focus on what's important, this is a great company to take off. I felt I made the right decision having joined here.
