We hired a cab from the Safe Cabs(I don't know how they can claim their service to be safe) from Bangalore to Ooty. We started at 10.30 pm, and were supposed to reach ooty by 6am the next day. The driver was drooling all the way. I told him to sleep for sometime before he continued driving. Around 4.30 am, the vehicle broke down and we were stranded in the middle of a jungle. The driver happily slept off, while I was awake scared of wild animals and goons. Around 7.30 the driver woke up and told us to take another vehicle while he would get the cab repaired. I spent 1000 bucks to reach our resort.
We somehow reached the resort and spent the whole day in the resort itself. At the end of our 4-day trip, when I asked the service agent to reduce the cost by one day and also to reduce the cost by 1000, he spoke very rudely and told me that "such things happen". I was totally disgusted and decided to write about this as soon as I reach bangalore.
Its my sincere advise not to go for Safe Cabs. They just cheat their customers.
