You could put Sachin's name along the same category in which you'll put the great batsman's of the past such as Border,Richards and Miandad. Sachin has earned the reputation of being the hardest hitting batsman in the game of cricket today. The rate Sachin is going these days I won't be surprise to see that by the end of his career the number he would put up will stand amongst the top batsmans of the world. I also believe that by the end of his cricket career his numbers can certainly make him one of the greatest batsman of all time if not the greatest.
