Saala Khadoos:
A decent attempt to make an honest but average movie.
Same plot as Chak de India, An unsuccessful Boxer's fight against everyone to give India a world champion boxer. That's the only similarity rest of the film is not even half of what Chak de India was.
Very much predictable screenplay, not so extraordinary direction, unexploited cinematography and just ok music. Why Bollywood is so much obsessed with songs, do a scene really need a song to express emotions? The only thing which stands out are dialogues, very bold and contemporary. The Story put to much emphasize on sports politics, association problem, family problem, love problem, sexual harassment problem.blah blah blah, . that 109 minutes of run time has only 19 minutes of ring time.
One good thing was performances from both the lead, Madhavan was as good as always, the big surprise is Ritika Singh. She was absolute brilliant in her debut film.
Over all an average sports movie with nothing extraordinary to show.
