Like the marry kom saala khadoos is a heartfelt attempt at putting a spotlight on the India's women boxers as it follow the life of siblings laxmi and madhi both are trained boxers both brought up in the poverty but with their sight set on boxing the film sheds on light on many issue namely lack of spot infrastructure and the corrupt selectors who subject the woman athelets to sexual humiliation are raw nerves  touches on. A line by a power drunk coach to a promising pupil that goes- if u wish to rise in life u have to go down first.

The film had great potential but it plays safe by taking the familiar route of the underdog becoming the champion. u know from the time when adi pick up a wild child off street and she over dramatically resist that he will her pursue to fallow his dream. Director sudha kondra also deftly weaves in an attraction btw the amateur boxer and her khadoos coach.
