Sa Re Ga Ma Walkout by 3 participants. Review on Sa Re Ga Ma

We may well be arguing for the next whole year if the walkout by 3 participants was correct or wrong,but I hope that we recognise their full rights to do so.

In a deal / competition , if any of the parties (participants in this case ) feel they have been dealt in an unfair manner, the deal/agreement/competition is bound to crumble sooner or later.Many will accept defeat gracefuly if they loose to a better competitor.

What happened was this : A majority of the public was voting based on one single criteria : Singing .

But then a minority started voting and continued voting with a heavy regional bias, with singing as a criteria taking the lowest priority in their judgement.

The programme organisers did nothing about this for a very long time,taking everything and everybody for granted , leading to a complete revolt by the 3 hapless participants.

What does 60 lakh or 70 lakh votes polled mean:Is it a matter of pride or did this lead to fall from grace as it did.

Without any accountability ,the regional,language and many other bias of a section of the public was bound to creep in.

A suitable option could have been selective secret voting from across the country, only by a few ustads,music directors,singers,musicians and those who know,understand the various aspects of singing - those who can judge correctly.This number could have been a few tens or hundreds.
