Worst movie I have seen recently from BW. Review on Rudraksh

Maybe I am just a jaded American, but this is the worst movie I have seen out of Bollywood in the past year. For an American, I do tolerate a lot of Bollywood that most Americans would not because I really like the Bollywood actors, the sangeet and the Hindi language. However, enough is enough, bas!

This movie seemed to be some type of collage of a bunch of American movies from the past 30 years. The trouble at an archeaological dig in the beginning (The Exorcist) and the unearthing of some evil talisman, then it goes on with Sunil Shetty and Isha Kopitar (sp?) developing these super powers and going on rampages causing riots and havoc throughout the last 14 years. Then there was the horrible portrayal of Bapusha Bazu, who comes across with her beautiful ''scientific'' cohorts as complete morons. And Sanjay Dutt as the faith healer/good guy just did not do anything for me at all. There were many scenes that were reminiscient of the Highlander movies with the good and evil immortals battling it out on planes in higher dimension, but I did not mind Highlander, it was much better than this and I am not a Highlander fan.

Oh please, this movie is terrible, the plot, the acting, the special effects weren't great, but they were the least of the movie's problems as far as I am concerned. I am glad I only paid $2.00 to watch the movie, which after the intrerval I gave up on for the most part. Please avoid this movie if you are half intelligent, maybe the other Sanjay Dutt DVD out now, Plan, is better. My advice: bachke rehna!
