I have purchased Royal Sundaram health Insurance in January 2012 for up-to 3Lac coverage, as they have tie-up with SBI Credit Card. January 2012 I have received my SBI credit card and they have offered me Royal Sundaram Health Insurance.
I opt for there services as they offered cashless services in many hospitals in my neighborhood and also I don't need to remind for any payment, it will be auto deduct from my SBI Card.
July 2016 I got a chance to use my Health insurance because of sever fever of 106 and chicken-pox. I went to Yatharth Hospital in Noida Sector 110. They charged me 26000 for two days hospitalization, medication, checkup and doctor visit. Though yatharth hospital is in the list of Royal Sundaram cashless hospitals but still I had to pay the money. Royal Sundaram only reimburse 18000, they said only 18000 can be done in such cases. But as per there policy documents they said 100% of cost will be taken care by us after 24 Hours of Hospitalization.
