There is only one bike - the bullet, everything else is just a means of transport. I am a Military Engineer and when I did my degree course in CME Pune we had two groups in the class - the bullet gang (also called auto club by the envious others!) and the moped gang comprising all others with the 100cc transporters!! I owned a splendor to start with as I didnt know how to drive a bike. My roommate Dennis had a bullet and I started off by driving his bike after the 9-12 show at Alka. I hesitated, then began to enjoy and finally got hooked. Bye bye to my Hero Honda just three months later and that was in 2000. Five years and my love for my Bullet Deluxe only ranks third cos my wife and dalmation outrank it!! It is something I look forward to growing old with...
For your better halves and girlfriends, well my wife had to sit on a moped when our bike went for servicing and cribbed throughout those two days!!We have had great moments with our bike criss crossing villages around Pune looking for waterfalls, dams and other picnic spots. Did a trip to Narayangaon and Malsesh Ghat also.
OK I know that the fuel prices are going up and all that but then what is life without passion. You can either live or exist, you decide
