Rourkela being a cosmopolitican city is now one of fastest growing city in terms of medical, education and infrastructure. Rourkela law college is a small college situated at Sector- 21, Nayabazar.
This college is affiliated under Sambalpur University. It provides LLB 3 years course. So for students practising lawers this college provides opportunity. But the infrastructure is very poorly maintained. There are no boundary walls and security issues are there. The college is sometimes used as centre for different examinations and most of the time election voting place. There is no hostel facilities and most of the time the area remains vacant like typical Govt colleges.
To reach this location, it is around 1 kms from Ring Road at Nayabazar chakk. It is situated in between LIC COLONY & SBI COLONY, NAYABAZAR. At the foothills of OSSAP hills , it is having a nearby playgrounds but it is all poorly maintained. Due to dense locality, there is all facilities available and a total market place but there is ni infrastructure development.
