Romeo Akbar Walter has a genre which is not new to people owing to the recent release of Raazi.This espionage drama has a lor of resemblance to the above mentioned flick and also borrows a lot from it. The only difference is that the frail Alia is replaced by a brawny John Abraham.
The plot goes quite predictably with the RAW chief played by Jackie Shroff hiring a bank employee Romeo Ali played by John for a highly secretive mission in Pakistan. What makes him choose John for the job is highly questionable. What follows is how John along with the help of some other RAW officials approaches the mission . Sikander kher plays a smart cop in Pakistan who senses Johns tactics and brings hurdles. He is quite good in his role. John does a decent job too.Mouni roy as the love interest is a waste.
Overall the plot of RAW is quite predictable but does have its moments. I found it one time watch .
