Rishikesh is located near Haridwar and Roorke. Its near the border of Uttarakhand and U.P. It is a good plays but only for a short trip as now days there is a huge rush of public and there are not many things to experience for which you have to stay for many days.
The thing I dislike about this hill station is the rush and a number of architecture which is eating the natural view of this place and the thing I like about this place is the holy river Ganga and the safe route to reach this destination.
It is having a number of tourist attraction like- camping on the bank of river, rafting in turbulent flow of river Ganga, Ram Jhula, Laxman Jhula amd many other places. The view of river flowing in the valley is very beautiful. The atmosphere here remains cool due the constant flow of river and it is cold in night. since the height is not very much therefore the oxygen intensity is good in here. People around here are good but be careful on trusting anybody.I recommend to have a visit to Rishikesh once and yes don't forget to eat in Chotiwala Restaurant.
