Hi all,
This is to share my experience with you all who are approaching Reliance Webworld.
I had been to Borivali & Malad Webworlds / Webworld express in suburbs 4-5 times on different days for a new handset and a prepaid connection too. But no one was ready to give proper feedback. About the handset they always say the price of handset but at the time of asking for delivery, they always say the handset is not in stock. This happened to me all the times. Well, that doesnot matter much. But the real thing comes now which I want to share with you all...
Somehow I managed to get response from one of the staff at Malad (W) Webworld branch. I took every detail of the Plan suitable for me in Postpaid & Prepaid. After all study I **concluded to go for minimum plan of Rs.99.00 per month (prepaid)**. **And they agreed to give me this plan.** My usage was very less for this number since I am using other mobile too, hence I selected this plan.
All the formalities I completed like took the number, paid the money for number etc. They informed me to come after 20 mins. and the new RIM connection will start. I went to them after say 30-35 mins. The phone was started perfectly. But.....
When I asked them to give me prepaid refilling of Rs.99.00 per month... the chaos started. **They told me that they cannot give me Rs. 99.00 plan**, it is valid **only with** combination of other minimum incoming validily plans, lowest out of those are of Rs.205.00 for 30 days. So overall minimum I have to pay **Rs.205.00 + Rs.99.00 = Rs.304.00 per month** *to get the benefit of lower tarriff in Rs.99.00 plan*; else I have to pay Rs.205.00 for 30 days with higher rates (per call). Now if you compare this, it's almost 3 times than the plan I selected. Again, the talktime, in terms of percentage to your outflow (99 or 205), in Rs.99.00 plan is more than that of Rs.205.00 plan.
This is absolutely incomplete / wrong information provided by them. It was literally misguidance, don't know the reason behind that, but ultimately I landed up in paying more money. Worst part is that I did whole conversation and formalities with the manager of that webworld. So there's no one above to complain...
Well, so there lotssa other complains about these webworlds, but running short of time too....
