I have been using various GSM and CDMA service provider network like bsnl, tata docomo, airtel , reliance cdma, reliance wap, reliance gsm.
The most poor and the worst of the network service providers are the reliance. Off late after the sale of the tower business, the coverage of the reliance wap is also become bad. Instead of advertising as the India's no.1 network they should go one step above No.1 and claim that they are india No.zero network. Anil Ambani is clearly cheating the public and the country as a whole.
with regards to the connectivity even in metros your signal strength does not cross 3 or 4 and many times the signal will appear and once you make the call it will drop instantly. You need to stand in one place glued like a statue for you to talk on a reliance gsm network.
In roaming it is one of the worst service provider. Most of the time you will get 'No network" or " emergency Only". I have complained about this issue to the customer care and promptly they will send a sms that the problem is resolved. I have send a complaint to TRAI also but it is in vain. No action will be taken.
Though reliance offer a attractive plan charges but it is really frustrating to be in that network. This reliance connection is good for people who would like to have a mobile connection and do not want to be disturbed People who are in roaming and want to be in constant contact or usage should not even think of this service provider.
